The Serie A champions are keen on reinforcing their offensive unit by signing a striker in the summer transfer window after losing Romelu Lukaku to a thigh injury. So, the struggling 22-year-old Manchester United centre-forward has emerged as a target for the Partenopei.
The 2024/25 Italian top-flight winners are ready to sign the Dane on a loan deal with a purchase obligation clause after initially considering an option to buy him following the first contacts. Napoli and Manchester United remain in touch to discuss a deal, and a move may be on the cards.
