Crystal Palace are among a host of Premier League clubs considering a late move for Chelsea outcast Raheem Sterling, GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Ben Jacobs has revealed.
The Selhurst Park side are reportedly keeping close tabs on the 30-year-old’s situation in west London, as Sterling is expected to depart Chelsea before the transfer window shuts.
While the Blues would prefer a permanent exit, another loan deal has not been ruled out this late in the window, following Sterling’s temporary spell at Arsenal last season.
Sterling would welcome staying in London and has three potential landing spots, with Palace, Fulham and West Ham among his admirers.
The 30-year-old has accepted he is not part of Enzo Maresca’s plans at Stamford Bridge, where he is under contract until June 2027, earning around £325,000 per week in wages.

According to Jacobs, Palace have yet to make any concrete moves to sign Sterling but have ‘made checks’ on the 30-year-old forward ahead of the transfer deadline:
Palace are believed to be in the market for several attacking reinforcements, as they aim to sign a new No. 10 and a replacement for Eberechi Eze, who is close to joining Arsenal in a reported £68m deal.
The 27-year-old England international was absent from Palace’s 1-0 win over Fredrikstad in the Conference League qualifiers on Thursday, with manager Oliver Glasner confirming Eze has already played his last game for the club.
Sterling is said to be waiting for Chelsea to present late-window options and is leaning towards staying in the Premier League and, potentially, in London.
The 30-year-old winger has not given up on a place in England’s World Cup squad next summer and remains hopeful of recapturing some of his best form at his next club.
Sterling has won 82 caps for the Three Lions to date and last played at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where he scored once in three appearances under Gareth Southgate.
