There seems to be something different about the New York Giants franchise this season. In the preseason, they went 3-0 and dominated the competition.

The Giants defeated the New England Patriots 42-10 on Thursday night in the preseason finale. Even though it is just the preseason, there seems to be a lot of energy on the Giants sidelines this year. Quarterback Russell Wilson will be the week 1 starter against the Washington Commanders, but it remains to be seen who will be the backup quarterback.

Former Notre Dame Fighting Irish linebacker Manti Te’o and others were talking about the Giants on Friday morning on Good Morning Football on NFL Network. Te’o loves the enthusiasm of this football team right now.

The Giants made it to the playoffs in 2022 with Daniel Jones at quarterback. Well, it seems as if with Jones off the team now, there seems to be a lot more energy in the building with Wilson and others at quarterback. With that being said, head coach Brian Daboll, general manager Joe Schoen, owner John Mara, and others need to see winning results this season and a playoff appearance isn’t out of the question if they play like this.
