Everton have been desperately searching for a new right-winger in this summer transfer window, and may now have the perfect solution.

Iliman Ndiaye is set to stay as the main left-winger, while new loan signing Jack Grealish is also an option on that flank.

However, Everton are short of options on the right following the departure of unpopular Leeds loanee Jack Harrison.

David Moyes is eager to sign a right-winger before the window shuts, and Girona star Vikto Tsygankov could now be that signing.

Viktor Tsygankov available for Everton this summer

Ukraine international Tsygankov was linked with Everton in recent times, and they may now have the perfect opportunity to bring him to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The winger was instrumental as Girona qualified for the Champions League in 2024, but after suffering a disappointing season in La Liga, they are ready to sell to raise funds.

Tsygankov scored just twice and provided five assists in 27 La Liga games last season, but this was in a Girona team struggling after the departures of Artem Dovbyk and Savinho.

The Ukrainian shone in the previous season, with eight goals and seven assists in 30 league games as Girona finished in the top four.

Ben Jacobs has now reported that the 27-year-old will be allowed to leave for £17.3 million this summer, and this could present Everton with the chance to sign him.

Vitaliy Mykolenko is very familiar with the winger, as both play for the Ukraine national team, and the attacker has scored 13 times in 61 international games.

Viktor Tsygankov could be ideal for Everton

As a left-footed right-winger, Tsygankov could be the perfect complement to Ndiaye and Grealish, and would be a necessary upgrade on Harrison.

The 27-year-old would arrive in his prime years, and also ranks highly in defensive metrics compared to other wingers.

Although he did not have his best season, a change of environment could help Tsygankov thrive again, and he is available at a bargain price.

The winger would also bring European experience, and with physical forwards in Beto or Thierno Barry to aim his crosses at, he can revive the successful partnership he had with Dovbyk at Girona.
