Arsenal are reportedly in ‘informal talks’ with another club over the sale of Jakub Kiwior and he wants the move.
Jakub Kiwior is at the back of the queue for minutes in Arsenal’s defence, and discussions on a new contract have stalled.
As a versatile defender, there is no shortage of clubs interested in the 25-year-old. Crystal Palace, Everton, AC Milan and Juventus have all registered their interest, as have Wolves.

But it’s another Champions League side who are making progress on a move for the Pole.
Arsenal are in talks with Porto about a deal for Jakub Kiwior
According to O Jogo, Porto have taken the first steps in negotiating a deal for Kiwior.
Kiwior didn’t make the squad for matchday one of the Premier League. Given how established Myles Lewis Skelly already is in Mikel Arteta’s side, and how clear-cut the decision is at centre-back when all are healthy, he may have to move elsewhere to play football.

It’s doubtful Kiwior would agree to a move without such assurances. He would form an all-Polish defensive partnership at Porto with Jan Bednarek, and still play Champions League football.
A loan with an option to buy is being discussed, though Arsenal may not agree to that as they still want to sign another defender before the end of the window.

Kiwior and Krejčí aren’t the same profile of player, but it’s hard to imagine Wolves are signing two players who can play in the back three with so many holes in the squad left unplugged.
Krejčí is an exciting talent and offers so much tactical flexibility to Vitor Pereira. The Kiwior links were something to get excited about during a concerningly quiet month of August, but fans won’t be too disappointed if Wolves can get Krejčí instead.
