With rumors tying the Green Bay Packers to Micah Parsons during his contract dispute with the Dallas Cowboys, the possibility of a trade has fans buzzing. A last-minute move for Parsons would shake up the NFL, and quarterback Jordan Love could shed light on how those talks are unfolding.
Kay Adams interviewed Love on Up And Adams and raised the idea of Parsons joining Green Bay, joking that Love may have ruined it by beating Dallas in the 2024 wild-card game. Love pushed back, revealing that he had already spoken with Parsons and even admitted that he “recruited him a little bit.”

“I talked to Micah this offseason. We did a podcast together, I talked to him. I recruited him a little bit,” Love said, even hinting at the end that Parsons “should come” to Green Bay.

The Packers quarterback lit up with a smile, saying it would be exciting to see Parsons in green and yellow. Adams noted that Love and Parsons share the same agent.

After returning from a thumb procedure, the 26-year-old Packers quarterback is prepared for a fully healthy season and determined to help his team win. The highlight of Love’s young career so far came in the wild-card victory over the Cowboys, who entered as heavy favorites after a strong regular season.
Love then looked back on the matchup with Adams, explaining, “Everything was just going right for us,” after he passed for 272 yards and three touchdowns in the victory.

Jerry Jones described the Packers’ playoff win over the Cowboys in 2023 as the most painful defeat in team history. Bringing Parsons to Green Bay, might be the next biggest blow. That Divisional Round clash saw Jordan Love lead the Packers to a 48-32 triumph, with Dallas never threatening to advance after collapsing offensively and defensively.
In that matchup, Dak Prescott threw for 403 yards and three touchdowns but also had two costly interceptions that turned into 14 points for Green Bay. Within the Cowboys organization, many insist Parsons will stay and eventually land a contract that works for both sides. Still, if he were to leave in the coming months, most Cowboys fans would rather see him land with another NFC East team than join the Packers.
