Nottingham Forest have been heavy spenders so far this transfer window, and it doesn’t seem like they are slowing down.
In his Crystal Palace pre-match press conference, Nuno confirmed he still wanted to sign some full-backs before the window ended.
Ola Aina and Neco Williams are the club’s first-choice players in those positions, but the depth could still be improved on.
Now, a target has reportedly been found, and it is a player who could rival Neco Williams throughout the season.

Nottingham Forest targeting Leicester City’s Victor Kristiansen for full-back depth
Nottingham Forest are in the market for full-backs, and it appears they have identified a target to rival Neco Williams.
According to a report from GiveMeSport, “Forest have enquired about the possibility of being able to sign Leicester City star Victor Kristiansen.”
The Tricky Trees are reportedly hoping to agree a fee in the region of £10m for the Danish international in what would be viewed as a “cut-price deal”.

Kristiansen is experienced in both Premier League and European football through his time at Leicester and Copenhagen.

He has predominantly played as a left-back across his career, with only a handful of games as a left-midfielder.
Nottingham Forest’s current backups have barely played for the club
At the moment, the current options for depth at full-back are Eric Moreira and Omar Richards.
The defensive pairing have barely played for Nottingham Forest, with only Moreira racking up five appearances for the first team.
It is not a situation Nuno Espirito Santo would like to be in. He has two unproven talents as backup options in a season they hope to go far in Europe.

Ola Aina will more than likely be away for the African Cup of Nations, so there is a need to add more bodies at full-back. Additionally, if Aina is away, Neco Williams could slot in at right-back and Kristiansen could fill over on the left.
Having players such as the Dane who are experienced at the level they will be playing would be a welcome addition at the City Ground.
