After a tense opening half hour, City looked the more likely to take the lead.
And Ben Wilkinson’s side did just that when Ryan McAidoo fired a right-footed finish into the back of the West Ham net two minutes before the break.

Reigan Heskey and Justin Oboavwoduo also got their Premier League 2 accounts up and running when they extended City’s lead with West Ham struggling to find a way into the game.
In the final minute of the game, substitute Mohamadou Kante denied City of a clean sheet but it was merely a consolation as our EDS earned our first win of the season which moved us into the top half of the PL2 table.
