All eyes will be on Tottenham Hotspur star Mohammed Kudus as the Lilywhites prepare to face Man City away from home
One of the best bits of business Tottenham have done in the transfer market this summer is bringing in Mohammed Kudus. The Ghana international has already started showing his quality on the pitch for the Lilywhites in the short time he has been at N17. And it is fair to say that the signing of the 25-year-old is looking like a real coup by Daniel Levy.
The ex-West Ham star had a home debut to remember in the first game of the new Premier League season. He was head and shoulders clear of anyone else on the pitch, and took on the responsibility to make an impact for the North London club. Kudus managed to grab wonderful assists to mark his presence at N17 against Burnley. It is also important to note that both assists were provided with his weaker foot as well.

Thomas Frank will hope to get the best out of Mohammed Kudus yet again when the Lilywhites face Man City this weekend.
The prolific winger excels in tight space and tends to beat his opponents with ease through his elite dribbling ability. He also likes to take the ball on his weaker foot whenever given a chance, indicating that he keeps the defenders guessing which way he is going to go.
Tottenham need to get the best out of Mohammed Kudus
Tottenham star Mohammed Kudus has made it clear that he wants to build on the performance against Burnley in the upcoming game. The Ghana international is clearly determined to prove his worth at N17 under Thomas Frank. And if he performs like he did against the Clarets week in week out, then Spurs will be alright this season.
Now, football expert Srinivas Sadhanand has given his two cents on how the 25-year-old can cause havoc against Manchester City. Speaking to TBR Football, Sadhanand said,
“Kudus is number one by a country mile. With City struggling to defend against transitions, coming up against one of the Premier League’s best ball-carriers could be an arduous task.”
The football expert added,
“Ait-Nouri will have a big job on his hands to keep Kudus quiet as even last week, he showed how dangerous he can be in 1v1 situations.”
Srinivas Sadhanand admitted that Mohammed Kudus is one player that Manchester City need to be careful of. The football expert pointed out that Pep Guardiola’s side struggle to defend in transitions and get caught out during counter-attacks. Since Kudus is an elite ball-carrier, City will need to close him down quickly and not give him space. Sadhanand believes Man City full-back Rayan Ait-Nouri will have the tough job to keep Kudus quiet.
Thomas Frank will hope to utilise Mohammed Kudus’ strengths even more against Manchester City. The Danish tactician often asks his teams to sit deep against tough oppositions. It can be assumed that the same tactic will be used against Manchester City. And the Lilywhites will look to catch the Cityzens out during a counter-attack, bringing the Ghana international into play.
