Jets-Eagles Preseason Game Recap | Preseason Ends with a 19-17 Loss

The Jets carried that momentum into the second half, albeit for a moment. Following Braiden McGregor's sack of Eagles QB McCord, rookie Pritchett's 41-yard put the hosts back into plus territory. But Harrison Mevis misfired from 55 yards out and the Eagles took advantage of their short field with a nine-play, 55-yard possession that ended on Montrell Johnson's 15-yard scoring run.

Rookie S Malachi Moore had a strong close to the exhibition season. Moore, a fourth-round pick from Alabama, intercepted a Kyle McCord heave into traffic with 2:32 remaining in the first quarter. He also made an impressive punt coverage stop earlier in the opening frame, corralling Ainias Smith for no gain after Austin McNamara's 42-yard punt. Late in the second quarter, Moore burst into the offensive backfield and took down RB Keilan Robinson for a 4-yard loss.

Right tackle Armand Membou, the No. 7 overall selection in last April's draft, was the only Jets' first-teamer in the starting lineup. Membou was flagged for a holding penalty in the first quarter and a false start penalty that should have been called on Kohl Levao. The Jets had 10 penalties for 78 yards.
