Last month, we covered claims from Italy that Fulham remain interested in AC Milan’s Samuel Chukwueze, after failing to sign him in January.
It was also said the Premier League club weren’t successful in the winter market because they made an approach towards the end of that window.
Fulham have now returned with a new approach to sign the 26-year-old this summer.
That’s according to Calciomercato, and they say ‘Fulham are serious’ about securing the winger’s services.
It’s claimed the London club have made further advances by submitting a bid to the Serie A side. Their proposal includes a loan deal with an option to buy, which will be converted into an obligation if certain set conditions are fulfilled.
Calciomercato make no mention of the purchase option/obligation figure, and this offer is on the Rossoneri’s table.
Milan, led by chairman, Giorgio Furlani, and sporting director, Igli Tare, and the Nigeria international are analysing this proposal. Fulham are now waiting for their final decision.
If Chukwueze were to leave the San Siro in the coming days, the report claims Milan will try to replace him with Vasco da Gama’s Rayan.
