West Ham United are considering sacking Graham Potter following the club’s disappointing start to the Premier League season, journalist Graeme Bailey has claimed.
The Hammers suffered an embarrassing 5-1 home defeat to Chelsea on Friday night, prolonging their winless start to the campaign after a 3-0 humbling at Sunderland on the opening weekend.
The two defeats have placed Potter under increased scrutiny, with owner David Sullivan reportedly questioning how long he can stick with the former Brighton boss as manager.
Potter, who took charge at the London Stadium in January, has the worst points-per-game record of any West Ham manager in history, averaging just 0.95 points from his first 21 games.

According to Bailey, West Ham chiefs are ‘under all sorts of pressure’ following a dire start to the Premier League season and are considering sacking Potter after just two games:
“The problem for Graham Potter is that he started this season on the back foot. They were poor last season when he came in, and things look like they are getting worse.
“David Sullivan is now under all sorts of pressure, and I am told he is considering whether they need to make a change already. Ideally, he doesn’t want to, but if this squad are not committed to Potter, that is a huge problem.”
