Leeds United’s trip to Arsenal today will not involve one of their first-team players traveling down with the squad, despite involvement on Monday.
Ethan Ampadu will miss out via an MCL issue, but another player has been confirmed as missing for Leeds United in the capital today, with The Emirates Leeds’ venue for the Saturday evening kick-off in the Premier League.
There are players facing uncertain futures ahead of the transfer deadline in nine days, with Beren Cross of The Athletic outlining Largie Ramazani as one of Leeds’ uncertainties after the signing of Noah Okafor.
Last summer, Leeds struck a £10 million deal for Ramazani, which included a 15% sell-on clause to UD Almeria. However, he started just nine games in all competitions in 2024/25.
That is despite 31 appearances last term, with Ramazani notching seven and assisting a further two. There was a feeling Daniel Farke underutilised Largie Ramazani for Leeds over the course of last season.

Daniel Farke omits Largie Ramazani from Arsenal matchday squad
Earlier last season, Farke discussed the situation privately with Ramazani. More publicly, Farke explained Ramazani’s intensity in duels was an issue, and also his pressing and out of possession work is perhaps not as strong as other wide players for Leeds.
That’s why transfer interest has emerged, albeit Ramazani has already turned down a switch to Greece and seemingly looked keen to fight for his place heading into the Premier League season.
Farke’s Ramazani admission previously outlined that he can create something out of nothing, which is why so many supporters are keen to see more of him. In pre-season, Ramazani enjoyed featuring with Gabriel Gudmundsson on the same flank, too.

Ramazani stunned against SC Verl in pre-season but he was an unused substitute again on Monday, with Brenden Aaronson coming on as a winger alongside Jack Harrison on the other flank for Dan James and Willy Gnonto.
That means the 24-year-old has failed to come on in seven of the last 14 games for Leeds, which stretches back to a crucial period last campaign of the side struggling for form after a 3-1 win over Sheffield United.
Hearing that Largie Ramazani hasn't travelled with the squad. No idea if there's an injury.
Of the wingers he would be the likeliest to attract interest. Would be a shame if he went. Difference maker, on the ball at least. See what Farke says.
Safe travels all. Have fun. Win.

With Harrison, Aaronson, James, Gnonto, and Okafor as wide options, Ramazani could be sixth in line. Or it could be something of nothing and Leeds supporters will have to wait and see what is said.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Okafor’s inclusion in the matchday squad was always going to mean some attacking players missing out. Having a bigger squad means decisions like that have to be made.
After Farke skirted around Ramazani questions somewhat in the press conference, many will be fearing the worst regarding his future at Elland Road.

Tony Dorigo explains exactly why Largie Ramazani is a match-winner
Ramazani’s first Leeds goal had Tony Dorigo excited against Cardiff City, but Manor Solomon then went on and made the left wing spot in the team his own.
Dorigo said: “Excellent goal, I’ve just done my back in watching that celebration. What a brilliant finish it was, forget that slip, that’s how you show them what you can do,” he said.
“Once he was beyond the backline of Cardiff, only one thing was ever going to happen, takes it away really well, as you can see, from the defender. It’s a brilliant touch right before he then shoots.
“This one here, gets away and now takes it onto his left-hand side, defender goes right and the finish is superb as well, plenty of composure, knows where the goal is, tucks it away well.”
It was a thing of beauty and showcased he could be a game-changer and match-winner at his very best. Leeds fans will hope that it is an injury precaution rather than a transfer exit, for the very reason that he can excite like he did in Cardiff.
