Welcome to an exciting Saturday of action in the Premier League and around Europe!

The day kicks off with Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur in a showdown at the Etihad Stadium. Man City could hardly have gotten their season off to a better start, putting four past Wolverhampton Wanderers last week with Erling Haaland (2 goals) and summer arrival Tijjani Reijnders (1 goal, 1 assist) among the standouts. Spurs were similarly impressive in a 3-0 win over Burnley, but Pep Guardiola's squad presents an entirely different level of challenge. Can Thomas Frank lead Spurs to victory in his first big test as the club's new head coach?

The other marquee Premier League matchup features Arsenal and Leeds United. Arsenal weren't firing on all cylinders away at Manchester United in their season opener, but Riccardo Calafiori's 13th-minute strike ultimately held as the match-winner in a 1-0 victory. The Gunners will especially hope new striker Viktor Gyökeres can make a bigger impact on the match, as he attempted zero shots in 60 minutes on his debut. Leeds could present the perfect opportunity for him to do so; though the newly promoted club defeated Everton 1-0 last week, they'll have to play even better if they want to match that result against a title contender.

Elsewhere, the Bundesliga and Serie A get their seasons underway.
