**Alexander Isak has already done some pretty shady things in a bid to force a move from Newcastle United to Liverpool this summer, but former Premier League forward Troy Deeney believes there's still more he could do.**
As things stand, Newcastle have closed the door on an Alexander Isak exit this summer, partially due to being unable to bring in a replacement, but mostly it's a show of strength by the owners, who insist they will not be bullied into making any decisions at the football club.
If Newcastle were to sign two strikers in the next week, there's a slim chance that the Magpies could sanction Isak's exit, but Liverpool would still need to meet the PIF's demands of £150 million.
Isak has gone on strike at the club and even released an inflammatory statement accusing the club of broken promises and saying there's no longer any trust, but Troy Deeney believes he can take it even further.

Troy Deeney was advised to go nuclear and thinks Alexander Isak should do the same

Writing for [The Sun](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/36405365/troy-deeney-column-isak-agent-plan-ruin-training-exclusive/), Deeney recalled a time when he was trying to get his move from Walsall to Watford (steady on there, Mr Big Stuff), and his agent told him to disrupt training.
> “At the end of the day, Newcastle want what’s best for Newcastle. His agent selfishly will want a good deal himself but, ultimately, his job is to do right by his player. But how they should have played it is how I played it with my agent when I was pushing to move from Walsall to Watford back in the summer of 2010.“In private, my agent said to me, ‘You’re going to have to kick up a fuss here. You’re going back to training and you’ll do all of the running, but as soon as a ball is involved, you’re going to have to ruin sessions, you’re going to have to kick balls away. But importantly, you can’t let anyone on the outside know what’s going on.’“It was really hard, you would go home feeling guilty, being a d\*\*\* in training for no reason, burning bridges for people you quite like. But you’ve just got to remember who you’re doing it for: yourself. That’s how Isak will be feeling. This is a career-changing, career-defining move.

Eddie Howe would welcome Alexander Isak back to training ... after the window closes
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is exactly why Isak will not return to training while the window is still open, and especially not ahead of the Liverpool game, where he'd be in a prime position to sabotage things.
As things stand, there are still a few bridges that Isak hasn't burned. The key one being the Eddie Howe bridge, with that gaffer still insisting that he'd welcome Isak back into the group with open arms.
Whether the players will be so accommodating remains to be seen.
