Georgia Tech Defense Looks to Keep Rested Players on the Field

Today we'll look at the defensive side of the ball and look at the depth at each of the positions. Improved depth from front to back combined with a new coordinator should give the Jackets a chance to improve their defense in 2025.

The options for starters on the strong and weak sides at defensive gives the Jackets a good starting point. The issue will be how fast the young backups can develop. Brayden Manley on the weak side is athletic and a capable pass rusher. Jordan Boyd has shown power coming off the edge and should be in the rotation. The question will be can the young players like Amontrae Bradford and Andre Fuller be productive in the rotation.

The good news on the strong side has been the play of Clemson transfer AJ Hoffler in preseason after missing most of the spring practices. A strong season for Hoffler would give the front four a chance to make an impact this season. Georgia Tech has experience backing up Hoffler with Ronald Triplette who has been consistent since transferring from Texas San Antonio and we should see him as the primary backup to Hoffler.
