Crystal Palace turn attention to Italy for potential Guehi replacement – Club would do deal

Crystal Palace have shown an interest in Juventus defender Lloyd Kelly as a potential replacement for Marc Guehi.

That’s [according to Gazzetta dello Sport](https://www.gazzetta.it/), who report that Crystal Palace have turned their attention to Kelly should Guehi depart.

The latter has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool throughout this summer as the Premier League champions continue their bid summer rebuild.

A deal has not happened yet but there is a belief Liverpool will move again before the end of the window and that would leave Crystal Palace looking for a replacement.

According to Gazzetta, that’s seen the Eagles look to Juventus and Kelly. They report that the Italian giants would be willing to let him go, despite only signing him in the January transfer window from Newcastle.

He cost €17.5m including the initial loan and a buyout and they would be more than happy to sell if it would help them to raise cash.

They’re not pushing him away at this moment in time as manager Igor Tudor has used him throughout pre-season but if the money is right, they’ll sanction the deal. He’s a name for Crystal Palace to keep an eye on then, if Guehi does depart.
