Leeds United man surely considering future after Everton and £17.25m updates - View

If Monday’s win against Everton was anything to go by, on top of Noah Okafor’s arrival from AC Milan, Largie Ramazani is surely thinking about his Leeds United future.

Leeds are gearing up for their first away trip of the Premier League season with a huge test away to title hopefuls Arsenal.

After getting off to a winning start on Monday, this game may be viewed by some as something of a ‘free hit’ against Mikel Arteta’s side, but confidence is surely much higher after deservedly seeing off Everton.

Daniel Farke has decisions to make in his Leeds United attack following 1-0 Everton win

Monday night was a game where neither ‘keeper was called into a great deal of action, Jordan Pickford the busier of the two, but still only being tested by a Joel Piroe snapshot and the late penalty that Lukas Nmecha slotted beyond his reach.

However, Nmecha’s cameo off the bench sprung into life in the best possible way after his third touch of the ball yielded the opening goal, as he became a superbly effective outlet to get United out of their own half, ending up killing off the game by driving into the corner and running down the clock by drawing fouls.

It leaves him likely hoping for a starting spot at the Emirates on Saturday, while Leeds’ agreement to sign Noah Okafor from AC Milan for a reported £17.25million fee gives Farke more attacking depth and variety to choose from.

The Swiss international may not be ready to start, but he certainly represents an improvement on what Leeds have in wide positions.

Is Largie Ramazani considering his future at Leeds United after his latest snub?

If you were to look at the comments of Instagram posts of each player after the Everton win, you’d see that Largie Ramazani was delighted to see his teammates collect three points.

Despite this, this week has definitely cast serious doubts over his future at the club, as both Willy Gnonto and Dan James were brought off when Leeds were searching for the winner on Monday, only for Ramazani to be overlooked yet again.

Moving above him in the winger pecking order, it seems, were Jack Harrison on the left and Brenden Aaronson on the right, a damning indictment of Ramazani’s current standing under Farke.

Already fifth choice when Farke was looking for a game-winning impact from his wide options, Leeds have now added another in Okafor that probably is thrust to a starting role as soon as he’s acclimatised to his new surroundings.

A year on from arriving for a hefty £10million fee in the Championship, Ramazani’s not had the chances consistently to show why the club were willing to commit such a fee in the second tier, even though prior to his ankle injury last season, he was truly unplayable.

Leeds’ dire need for attacking improvements does indicate that Ramazani would have dropped down the pecking order regardless of Farke’s current (lack of) use of the Belgian, but this week has served as the biggest suggestion yet that Ramazani himself might be wondering if a move away is best for his development.

Ramazani carries himself in a manner that suggests he’s rightly confident in his own abilities, as he should be, and will be grafting to change Farke’s viewing of his role in this squad, but a move away could be a very simple and quick fix to his dearth of playing time.
