Borussia Dortmund will reportedly look to sign 26-year-old English international Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
According to a report by Christian Falk on Caught Offside, Trevoh Chalobah is the subject of interest from Borussia Dortmund. The Bundesliga giants are keen on reinforcing their defensive unit in the summer transfer window by signing a centre-back. So, the Chelsea utility man has emerged as a target for the German outfit.
The Black and Yellows are keen on signing the Englishman on loan from Chelsea in the summer transfer window. However, while recent reports have claimed that the Blues are open to parting ways with Chalobah, Aaron Anselmino is likelier than the homegrown defender to join Borussia Dortmund this month.
Trevoh Chalobah and his career so far
Trevoh Chalobah surprisingly resurrected his stuttering fortunes at Chelsea after he returned to Stamford Bridge from his loan spell with Crystal Palace midway through the 2024/25 season. The 25-year-old was a regular at the back for the West London outfit in the second half of the campaign, and he has started both Premier League games thus far this term.
The English international has turned out over 100 times thus far for Chelsea while chipping in with six goals and three assists. However, despite his impressive performances, Chalobah’s long-term future at the West London club is uncertain in the final days of the summer transfer window. Borussia Dortmund will be among the prospective suitors vying for his signature.
