Leeds United closing in on deal for £30M star

Leeds United could complete a few deals before the end of the week, as they look to wrap up their transfer business before the window closes. On the pitch, the club have started their season very well.

Leeds beat Everton at home in their first game of the season. The Whites made history, becoming the first Championship title holder in the last 17 years to win their Premier League opener. And they did it in style; completely dominating David Moyes’ side. Leeds should have won by a bigger scoreline, but their finishing let them down. It took a late penalty from Lukas Nmecha to seal all three points.

Leeds are set to be in the market for another attacker, based on the words of Daniel Farke on Friday. The German has asked the club to add some reinforcements to the attack. And it looks like the club’s next target is a Strasbourg player.

Leeds fans will not be happy to hear that after what happened with the negotiations over Habib Diarra earlier this summer.

According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Leeds are leading the race to sign winger Dilane Bakwa from the Ligue 1 side.

The deal may be worth up to £30million. Nottingham Forest are also said to be closely monitoring the situation ahead of the transfer deadline this week.

Bad news for Largie Ramazani

There were reports that one of the wingers at the club could make way if a new signing arrived. And looking at it closely, Largie Ramazani looks like the most obvious option to leave the club. He has not proven himself like Wilfried Gnonto or Dan James, and had very limited game time last season.

If a deal is completed this week, then the Belgian could be moved out to balance the numbers in the squad.
