Arsenal will take on newly promoted side Leeds United in their second match of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign on Saturday at the Emirates Stadium.

Both Arsenal and Leeds United opened their current season with a 1:0 narrow win over their opponents.

A Ricardo Calafiori header in the first half handed Arsenal a win over Manchester United last weekend while Lukas Nmecha converted a controversial late penalty on his debut as Leeds United made a winning return to the Premier League by beating Everton 1-0 at Elland Road.

Leeds United will hope to cement their desire to make big marks this season by fighting to take points from Arsenal.

Leeds manager Daniel Farke has confirmed that his team will maintain their attacking style against Arsenal, despite the significant difference in quality between the two teams.

After a promising performance against Everton on the opening weekend of the Premier League, Farke’s side is looking to continue their good form against one of the league’s top teams.

“If you just try to defend, you have no chance to survive. We will try to be there with many periods with the ball, and try and create chances to scare them.” He added.

Mikel Arteta at the same time will also hope to take all 3 points in the first home game of the season as Arsenal launch the bid for the Premier League title again after narrowly missing out for three consecutive years.
