Keith Andrews and Unai Emery have named their starting lineups and substitutes for this afternoon’s Premier League clash between Brentford and Aston Villa at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Both teams are searching for their first wins of the new campaign after Brentford lost 3-1 at Nottingham Forest last weekend and Villa drew 0-0 with Newcastle United. Neither side showed their best acumen last time out as the Bees were well beaten and Villa lacked creative nous.
Emery has controversially started Pau Torres and Tyrone Mings alongside one another for the first time in the absence of the banned Ezri Konsa. Emiliano Martinez returns from suspension to replace Marco Bizot between the sticks, while Youri Tielemans is expected to play in the number 10 role with Morgan Rogers and John McGinn wide, just like it was against Newcastle.
