Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastien Kehl and managing director Lars Ricken travelled to the UK for talks with Chelsea over Carney Chukwuemeka and Aaron Anselmino.
That’s according to journalist Patrick Berger, who reports that talks have taken place between the two sides over the Chelsea duo.
He reports that Kehl and Ricken both travelled to the UK for talks with Chelsea and have now returned to Germany for Borussia Dortmund’s clash with St. Pauli.
He repots that the two sides are working on a deal that would see Chukwuemeka arrive on a permanent deal worth €25m. That would include Chelsea retaining a sell on percentage.
Anselmino, meanwhile, would arrive from Stamford Bridge on a straight loan. There will not be an option for the German side to buy him.
The deal seems to be progressing after first being reported this week and the Borussia Dortmund duos trip to England to meet with Chelsea has seemingly pushed things along.
Dortmund, though, have also lined up Charlie Cresswell from Toulon if the Anselmino deal collapses so it appears that they are not 100% confident just yet.
