Joy Taylor: "Okay, before you go on, I've never watched this, okay? I'm only aware of this from a Jason conversation. I did not watch a single second of this. I couldn't give a fuck less, and I have not consumed any of it... He said something about peanut butter, right?... What a shock, food."
Cam Newton: "Peanut butter skin, and when I was working with her, we would always see her rack, and I wanted to stay away from her, because I knew what I would have done."
Joy Taylor: "Well, I mean, he's so desirable."
Cam Newton: "But we love Jason."
Joy Taylor: "I do not. No, we don't. Who loves Jason? Does God love Jason? I do not. I do not love Jason. You say what you need to say. I don't love everybody."
The clip was trending online not just for Taylor's ruthless honesty, but also due to Whitlock's mounting controversy, as of late.
In recent months, Whitlock has faced backlash for comments he made on his show Fearless, where he suggested Taylor’s career success was tied to her personal relationships in a way that was deemed disrespectful by many sports fans and the media.
Those remarks sparked outrage across the sports world, with athletes like Damian Lillard calling him out.
The roast comes in the middle of an extraordinarily complicated chapter for Taylor. Earlier this year, she was named in a legal suit from former Fox Sports hairstylist Noushin Faraji, who sued, alleging that Taylor downplayed sexual harassment allegations and had inappropriate relationships with Fox executives.
