Cristiano Ronaldo has hit yet another milestone on the big stage, after he converted a first-half penalty to put Al-Nassr ahead in the Saudi Super Cup final in Hong Kong.
The goal marked Ronaldo's 100th for the Riyadh club, making him the first player ever to score 100 or more goals for four different clubs.
It also took him up to 939 career goals, now 61 away from the elusive 1000 that the Portuguese star is chasing.
In his previous spells around Europe, he netted 450 for Real Madrid, 145 for Manchester United, and 101 for Juventus.
Al-Nassr’s opener arrived from the spot late in the first half, before Franck Kessie equalised for Al-Ahli in first-half stoppage time.
This decider has been the headline act of a week-long Saudi Super Cup takeover in Hong Kong.

Al-Nassr squeezed past Al-Ittihad 2-1 in Tuesday’s semi-final under the lights, while Al-Ahli thrashed Al-Qadsiah 5-1 a day later to book their place.
Saturday's final was billed as a chance for Ronaldo to claim his first official trophy with Al-Nassr since arriving in 2023.
The 40-year-old won the 2023 Arab Club Champions Cup but this sits outside FIFA’s recognised ledger.
This record is the latest on Ronaldo's resume. In January, he became the first player ever to reach 700 victories in club football across his career.
Last November, he became the first player to score more than 40 goals in 13 separate calendar years, overtaking Lionel Messi’s tally of 12 such years.
