Aston Villa may face an injury concern after Boubacar Kamara was substituted during the match at Brentford.

The midfielder was replaced shortly after Brentford took the lead in the 12th minute through their new signing, Dango Ouattara.

Kamara was seen sitting on the floor and signalling for medical assistance. The exact nature of the issue remains unclear, but Unai Emery is expected to address it after the match. Sky reported that it could be a hamstring issues, but that has yet to be confirmed.

Emi Buendia replaced Kamara, who walked straight down the tunnel without requiring assistance to leave the field.

Crystal Palace head to Villa Park next Sunday before the September international break kicks in.

Villa fell behind after Ouattara sprinted through on goal, capitalizing on a flick-on from Igor Thiago, before outpacing Pau Torres.

One-on-one with Emi Martinez, the goalkeeper saved Ouattara’s initial shot, but the striker slotted home the rebound.
