Everton have rejected multiple approaches for Iliman Ndiaye and consider him a key figure going forward for the club, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Toffees started their Premier League campaign with a disappointing 1-0 loss to Leeds United at Elland Road on Monday. Lukas Nmecha got the sole goal from the penalty spot and it wasn't the start that David Moyes wanted.
Ndiaye played the full 90 minutes for Everton and is firmly in the former West Ham United boss' plans. The forward moved to Merseyside last summer for an undisclosed fee after one season with Marseille in France.
He'd previously impressed in England with Sheffield United, helping them gain promotion to the Premier League in 2022/23, but left before he could play in the top flight with them.

During his debut campaign at Everton, Ndiaye scored 11 goals in 37 appearances across all competitions and his form has caught the eye of multiple teams. Sides in the Premier League and Serie A have approached the Toffees about purchasing the 25-year-old superstar, but according to Romano, they've rejected all enquiries.
It's been reported that Moyes and company consider Ndiaye to be a 'crucial' part of the project at Everton going forward. It's currently unclear which teams have approached the Toffees about the star, but they're not entertaining any offers for him.
It's been a busy summer for Everton so far in the transfer window, with Jack Grealish, Thierno Barry, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Carlos Alcaraz among the names brought into the fold to bolster the squad. They're also set to sign promising youngster Tyler Dibling from Southampton, after he impressed in the Premier League last season.
Moyes returned to the club at the start of 2025, resuming the post he'd departed 12 years earlier. His previous run as manager spanned 11 years. With his return and the club's move to their brand-new ground, the Hill Dickinson Stadium, this season, they're entering an excited new era at Everton and Ndiaye is set to play a key role in that going forward.
