It has been no secret that Stephen A. Smith and Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James are not the closest of friends.
During the 2024-25 NBA season, their feud rocketed up to another level. Each side was throwing harsh words at the other and it got very public.
While not much has been heard about the two in recent history, the feud has been continued after new comments from Smith.
During an appearance on the "Dan Le Batard Show," Smith did not hold back his thoughts about James. He also made it clear that he does not like the longtime NBA superstar.

"I don't like LeBron... and it'll probably stay that way forever," Smith said. "Things have gone on behind my back, trying to ruin my reputation and integrity."
Fans didn't waste time sharing their opinions and comments about Smith's latest statement. Most fans did not have great things to say about Smith.
"This guy's victim mentality is truly something lol," one fan wrote.
Another chimed in, "Like you haven't tried ruining LeBron and others players reputation and integrity for years??"
"Stephen A. is STILL talking about LeBron. Wow," a third said.
A fourth fan commented, "It's a fierce competition between him and Drake for the most one sided celebrity beef with LeBron."
"How often does Lebron utter Stephen A's name? Maybe once or twice a year. How often does Stephen A utter Lebron's name? At least 300 times a year. Who is smearing whom?" a fifth comment read.
Clearly, the fans are tired of Smith's constant issues with James. No one really seems to care about the beef that the two men have had.
James is set to play the 2025-26 NBA season with the Lakers after opting in to the final year of his contract. However, there is a very good chance that he could be playing for another team next season.
Throughout the 2025 NBA offseason, there have been rumblings about Los Angeles being ready to move on from James. The same rumors have connected James to being ready to move on from the Lakers.
Only time will tell, but for now, Smith has opened up the bad blood with James once again.
