Report: Man Utd eyeing move to sign ‘one of Europe’s best dribblers’ as ‘outrageous’ update…

Manchester United are closely monitoring Paris Saint-Germain forward Lee Kang-in ahead of the transfer deadline, journalist Han June has revealed.

The Old Trafford side are keeping tabs on the South Korea international as a potential reinforcement to Ruben Amorim’s attacking options, although his summer exit from PSG remains ‘extremely difficult’.

PSG view Lee as a key rotational player and only an 'outrageous' bid would change their stance, with his valuation standing at around €40m to €50m (£35m–£43m).

Lee has no shortage of admirers in the Premier League, as Arsenal have made contact regarding his potential availability but are not expected to pursue a deal following Eberechi Eze’s arrival.

According to Han June, Man United are keeping close tabs on Lee ahead of the transfer deadline, but only an ‘exceptional’ bid would lure him out of Parc des Princes:

Lee, who joined PSG from Mallorca in the summer of 2023, was mostly a rotational player under Luis Enrique last season, making 49 appearances across all competitions and 26 starts.

The South Korea international came off the bench to score in the UEFA Super Cup against Tottenham earlier this month, helping PSG spark a late comeback before winning on penalties.

The 24-year-old started in PSG’s Ligue 1 opener against Nantes last weekend and came off the bench in their 1-0 win over Angers on Friday.

Lee, who was once praised as ‘one of the best dribblers in Europe’, is under contract with PSG until the summer of 2028.

Man United are anticipating a busy end to the transfer window, with a new goalkeeper and midfielder on the agenda for Amorim.

The Red Devils ended their pursuit of Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba last week and have since shifted their focus onto signing Royal Antwerp shot-stopper Senne Lammens.

According to GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Fabrizio Romano, United are close to agreeing personal terms with the 23-year-old goalkeeper, who could soon become their fifth signing of the summer.
