ESPN’s Adam Schefter lists multiple Cardinals on top fantasy football picks list for 2025

As the 2025 NFL season approaches, the Arizona Cardinals offense could potentially have several top fantasy football options this season.

Whether it’s Trey McBride as a TE1 or Marvin Harrison Jr. as a WR1 or WR2, the Cardinals offer fantasy football teams several options to choose from in a 12-team league draft.

One expert NFL writer also seems to think highly of Cardinals players this season.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter listed McBride as a top early round pick. Schefter was high on McBride’s draft stock for 2025, saying there were times last season he played like a baby Gronk.

McBride being a top fantasy football option at the tight end position this season should come as no surprise, especially after his 2024 campaign, where the Pro Bowler registered 111 receptions on 147 targets for 1,146 yards and two touchdowns.

Marvin Harrison Jr. makes Schefter’s list

Schefter listed Harrison as a middle round pick in fantasy drafts, saying that while he won’t be drafted as high as last year, he likely will produce more in 2025.

Harrison looks to make a big leap in Year 2 of his NFL career after he registered 62 catches for 885 yards and eight touchdowns as a rookie.

While he led the Cardinals in receiving touchdowns, his stats were somewhat underwhelming when you consider the expectations placed upon him after being drafted fourth overall in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Trey Benson also makes Schefter’s list

Cardinals running back Trey Benson also made Schefter’s list as an option in late rounds. Schefter said Benson has a chance to show he has a place in Arizona’s offense.

Benson looks to have more of a presence in the Cardinals offense after getting just 63 carries last season, rushing for 291 yards and scoring a touchdown in 13 games played. Benson missed four games last season, including the Cardinals’ final three games due to an ankle injury.

While James Conner is still the Cardinals starting running back, he enters his ninth season in the NFL at age 30 as a player with plenty of tread on the tires. Benson has a chance to take some of the pressure off Conner in the offense and potentially form a viable one-two punch in the backfield for the Cardinals.
