Arsenal bagged their second victory of the season, thrasing Leeds United.

There were plenty of goal scorers and a broken duck, but it wasn't all rosy with some concerning injuries cropping up. The Gunners took the lead from yet another corner, with Jurrien Timber heading in from Declan Rice's cross.

They doubled their advantage before the break, thanks to Bukayo Saka, who fired past Lucas Perri following a brilliant pass from Jurrien Timber. Viktor Gyokeres found the back of the net at the start of the second half, firing low into the bottom left-hand corner, reports Football London.

Timber scored the fourth as Max Dowman's late entry into the game drew more cheers from the crowd with several moments where he nearly found a special debut goal before he was tripped just inside the box, allowing Gyokeres another shot to convert from the penalty spot.

Here's how Daily Star Sportrated the performances of the Arsenal players.

David Raya – Pulled off a stunning reaction save from Pascal Struijk, a header from a corner that the keeper had to tip over the bar. Otherwise, he wasn't really tested but his distribution throughout was solid. 7.

Jurrien Timber – He gave Arsenal the lead with another set piece goal, a beautifully guided header into the far corner. Then he turned provider, finding the pass through the right half-space to Saka who fired in the second.

He didn't have to wait long for another goal, getting his toe to a loose ball in the box from another corner – two goals and an assist, a fantastic day. 9.

William Saliba – Produced a superb sliding tackle in the first half, stopping a Leeds counterattack to the delight of the home crowd. He was the superior of the two centre-half partners today. 7.

Gabriel Magalhaes – Solid throughout despite not necessarily being too challenged although did lose Struijk for the header at the start. A loose touch toward the end, a couple mistakes but nothing too concerning. 6.

Riccardo Calafiori – Rampaging forward all throughout the match, particularly inside of Noni Madueke and into the left half-space. A great pass, however, did find the Gunners' new striker on the left-hand side, leading to the goal. 7.

Bukayo Saka

Martin Zubimendi – Had a tricky first-half display but finished it well, finding the pass to Jurrien Timber before his touch into Saka for the second goal. This was a key moment for the Spaniard who then settled and grew stronger throughout. 7.

Declan Rice – A typically fantastic corner from the Arsenal record signing, curled straight onto the head of Jurrien Timber. He was also involved in the second goal, getting his foot in to win the ball back before Martin Zubimendi found Timber. 7.

Martin Odegaard – He had an early shot in the match from outside the box, hitting it low but into the side netting. Unfortunately, he suffered a shoulder injury and despite trying to play on, was substituted for Ethan Nwaneri in the 38th minute. 6.

Viktor Gyokeres

Bukayo Saka – After a relatively subdued first half, the club's star player scored from a quick turnover, with Timber setting him up for a right-footed strike past the goalkeeper. However, he was substituted early in the second half due to what appeared to be a hamstring issue. 7.

Noni Madueke – Had a quiet first half, struggling to make headway down the left. His performance improved when moved to the right, and with Saka potentially sidelined, his presence in the squad is reassuring. 6.

Viktor Gyokeres – Missed a golden opportunity at the 17-minute mark when the ball was loosely played back into the box for him. He rushed the chance and sent the ball wide.

However, he made amends early in the second half, receiving a long ball on the left, cutting into the box and shooting low into the bottom left-hand corner. He confidently converted a penalty to seal the win. 8.

Ethan Nwaneri – Came on in the first half to replace the injured Martin Odegaard. However, he struggled to make an impact on the game, and failed to capitalise on the opportunities that came his way. 6.

Leandro Trossard – Stepped in to replace Bukayo Saka. This was his first appearance since we learned of his new deal signing, and he looked sharp with some nice switches of play to Dowman. 6.

Myles Lewis-Skelly – A fan favourite who effortlessly transitioned into the inverted left-back role. However, he faces a tough task trying to unseat Calafiori this season, who has been in inspired form. 6.

Cristhian Mosquera – Took over from Timber at right back, not as attacking as the Dutchman, but the Spaniard was reliable in the role and provides good cover for the currently injured Ben White. 6.

Max Dowman – Bursting with energy and movement, he received a cheer every time he got on the ball, with every supporter now fully aware of this talent. Had an opportunity to cut inside and take a shot from outside the box on the right.
