Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an injury update on Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard following the Premier League win versus Leeds United.
The Gunners climbed to the top of the league table after a 5-0 rout of Leeds United.
Jurrien Timber and Viktor Gyokeres bagged braces, while Bukayo Saka was also on the scoresheet.
Unfortunately, Saka was forced to be substituted with a hamstring injury in the second half. Martin Odegaard was also taken off in the first with a shoulder issue.
Speaking after the game, Arteta has said that he has not spoken with the doctor yet but acknowledged that Saka appears to have picked up a ‘significant’ injury.
He said: “I don’t know, obviously I haven’t spoken to the doctor yet. But for Bukayo to come off… for sure, it looks like something that is significant.”
