5 Things to Watch For - Packers vs Seahawks

The Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks square off at Lambeau Field to cap off the Preseason. Here are five things to watch for coming into the game.

**The Wide Receiver Room**

There are many questions in the Wide Receiver room. With the injuries to Savion Williams, Jayden Reed, and Dontayvion Wicks, it will give more reps to guys such as Mecole Hardman, Malik Heath, Will Sheppard and more. The final preseason game is today ahead of cutdown day on Tuesday for the Packers, so this is the chance for someone to separate themselves if they're going to. Another thing to watch in this room is Matthew Golden if he gets snaps. The rookie has had a great camp, and he will look to continue that momentum into the game today after a standout joint practice against the Seahawks.

**Sean Clifford versus Taylor Elgersma**

The Quarterback three battle will officially close after today. With Clifford getting most of the work in game one, and Elgersma getting most of the work in game two, it will be interesting to see if the same plan happens, as well as who gets the majority of the snaps. Clifford would come in and score the game winning touchdown in his time last week, but Elgersma would help account for a comeback to get the offense rolling in the second half.

**The Cornerback Room**

Once again, it's no surprise that the Cornerback room is one to watch again. They had a very solid showing against the Seahawks again in joint practice, but depending on who's playing for each side, we might get a game look against the Seattle receiving core against the Cornerback room. Another thing to watch for is the depth in this room. Bo Melton seems like a lock to make the team after switching from Wide Receiver. There seems to be a toss up between multiple Cornerbacks going into today's game, so it'll be one to watch for to see who can separate themselves today.

**The Running Back Room**

With MarShawn Lloyd hurt, Amar Johnson having himself a breakout camp thus far, and Emanuel Wilson looking to bounce back after a rough game last week, this room has plenty of eyes on it coming into this week. MarShawn Lloyd could start the year on the PUP list which would open a spot for one more Running Back to make this initial 53 Man Roster. Emanuel Wilson, Chris Brooks, Amar Johnson, and Israel Abikanda have been battling it out for weeks, and now it's time to see who can put themselves ahead of the group to secure a spot heading into cutdown day on Tuesday.

**Ben Sims versus John FitzPatrick**

This has been another noteworthy battle during all of camp. Sims has been making plays each day it seems, but FitzPatrick always has a response. The receiving threat as well as the blocking threat is there for both players, but it seems that lately in game, FitzPatrick has been the go-to guy between the two when they need a play. Ben Sims would play a lot of snaps for the Packers last season, so it will be another thing to watch today to see which one can make that big play to put themselves ahead of the other.
