Aston Villa’s pursuit has also been helped by Jacob Ramsey’s £40 million move to Newcastle United, freeing up both funds and a squad spot to make the transfer possible.

Fichajes recently reported that the biggest surprise around Marco Asensio comes from Germany, where Bayern Munich has joined the race and is seriously considering signing him this summer.
The German club sees Asensio as a playerwho brings experience, attacking versatility, and a proven European track record.
Asensio’s camp is reportedly receptive to the Bayern move. The project appeals to him and would give the Balearic native a more prominent role—something he hasn’t had at PSG.
