Amad change and major decision made - Manchester United predicted XI vs Fulham

Man United face Fulham at Craven Cottage today looking for their first Premier League win of the season.

As much as Manchester United's opening day display against Arsenal offered plenty of positives for the season ahead, there was a very familiar feel to game for United: no goals and no points.

Positive performances are all well and good, but Ruben Amorim knows he can't afford for his side to start the season slowly and so a win against Fulham this weekend is badly needed.

Andre Onana was not named in the matchday squad for the opening day defeat, but he absolutely should be brought back into the team in the wake of Altay Bayindir's awful error which cost United on Sunday.

The back three performed well last weekend and so there is no reason for Amorim to twist in that department, meaning Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Luke Shaw start.

United looked far more dangerous down the right-hand side when Amad entered the game on Sunday and so he should start at right wing-back, with Patrick Dorgu on the opposite flank.

Bruno Fernandes can start in midfield but Casemiro simply cannot cope with the pace of Premier League football, meaning he should come out of the team. Options for his replacement are limited at best, so Manuel Ugarte comes into the side.

Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha looked very bright in the No.10 roles on Sunday and they must start behind the striker. Mason Mount didn't offer United a focal point against the Gunners, unsurprisingly. Benjamin Sesko will take time to adapt to life in a new country and a new league but needs must and he has to start at Craven Cottage.

Manchester United predicted XI vs Fulham: Onana; Yoro, De Ligt, Shaw; Amad, Fernandes, Ugarte, Dorgu; Mbeumo, Sesko, Cunha.
