Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has an embarrassment of riches in the attacking third, with international-calibre players and rising stars on the fringes of the Stamford Bridge first team.
The Blues have started the 2025-26 Premier League campaign well and the 5-1 humbling of West Ham United on Friday night shows the London club are one to watch this term.
Chelsea signed Joao Pedro and a host of other new men over the summer, while the Blues’ spending might yet not be over.
With so much competition for places, one rising star at Stamford Bridge could be set to leave – with former Chelsea loanee Jadon Sancho playing a role in his exit.
Chelsea starlet Tyrique George in Roma’s gaze
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has stated on X that Italian giants Roma have made contact with Chelsea over the possibility of signing highly-rated youngster Tyrique George.
The report states RB Leipzig and a number of other Premier League sides are also interested in the Blues youngster, who broke into the Stamford Bridge first-team fold last season.

Romano suggests Roma were keen on Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, but the former Chelsea loanee has rejected a loan move to the Italian capital.
As such, the Serie A side could step up their efforts to land George, but the report does not state whether this would be on a permanent or loan basis.
George a special talent – but unlikely to play at Chelsea
The 19-year-old is a prodigious talent, with Chelsea first-team star Romeo Lavia praising George’s potential and highlighting the homegrown starlet as someone that had impressed him in West London.
The England under-19 attacker got a number of opportunities last season, with Chelsea fans chanting George’s name after an impressive cameo against Southampton in February.

However, Chelsea want Alejandro Garnacho and with a possible move for Xavi Simons, the youth academy product is unlikely to get many opportunities this season.
A loan move to Roma, where he would get the chance to expand his horizons and gain exposure to first-team football in a different country, could be a masterstroke by the Chelsea hierarchy.
After this, in 12 months’ time George could well be ready to challenge for a place in the Chelsea first-team fold.
