It's 50 up for Albion - but how many of these 49 top-flight venues did you go to?

Club historian Tim Carder has pointed out Everton’s new home will be the 50th venue at which they have played in the top flight.

That comprises the First Division from 1979 until 1983 and the current Premier League era.

How many of the 49 so far have you enjoyed visiting?

### The Amex (153 matches)

The tally includes last week’s opener v Fulham. They have 53 wins at the venue in the Premier League (of which 27 came in the first five seasons and 26 in the next three), 45 defeats and, now, 55 draws.

### Goldstone Ground (84 matches)

Scene of Albion’s first top tier fixture (0-4 v Arsenal in 1979) and 34 league wins in total, with 25 draws and 25 defeats. That feels like a decent record for a side whose highest finish in four seasons was 13th.

### Old Trafford (12 visits)

One of the ever-present away venues in Albion's 12 top-flight seasons, although it has changed since they first went there in front of the old Stretford End and Scoreboard End. After managing just one draw in their first nine trips, they have been successful on each of their last three visits.

### Goodison Park (12)

Another full house of 12 visits out of 12 top-flight seasons – but the run ends there. No wins in the first eight trips but ten points from the last four.

### Anfield (12)

Two 1-0 wins, the second of them behind closed doors, and two draws make for a decent record which could be better after losing leads on each of the last three visits.

### Danny Welbeck celebrates at a near-empty Villa Park    _(Image: PA)_ Villa Park (10)

Grim. Albion went down 2-1 at Villa in their first ever top-tier away game and did not get a point in their four First Division visits. Their only Prem win there came behind closed doors but fans cheered a 2-2 draw last season to make it four points from ten games there in the elite.

### Molineux (10)

The happy hunting ground. Three wins out of three in the First Division, a precious bore draw late in 2018-19 and four wins in a row more recently. Albion average 2.5 points per game at Wolves in the top division (using three points for a win).

### Selhurst Park (10)

There have been six 1-1 draws, including the first top-flight visit when Peter Ward and Jim Cannon scored. Albion’s two wins at Selhurst, 3-0 in 1981-82 and 2-1 in 2018-19, both went a long way towards keeping them up.

### Emirates Stadium (8)

A happy venue for the Seagulls with three Prem wins and a couple of come-from-behind 1-1 draws.

### London Stadium (8)

Albion remain unbeaten at our nation’s Olympic stadium but should have probably struck gold more often than the two wins (including their first away success in the Prem).

### Stamford Bridge (8)

Chelsea were playing Second Division football for the duration of Albion’s first stint in the top flight (1979-1983). The annual visits in the Prem have brought a memorable winner from Julio Enciso and a couple of draws.

### St James’s Park (8)

There was no trip to Newcastle in the old First Division but some good contests since the clubs won promotion together. Albion have had three wins and five clean sheets on Tyneside in the Prem (plus a cup win).

### Etihad Stadium (8)

One point from a possible 24 and a goal difference of 5-20 but the last two trips have seen a narrow 2-1 defeat and 2-2 draw which might have been a win.

### Gerry Ryan scores his famous winner at the City Ground   _(Image: None)_ City Ground (7)

The famous “miracles can still happen” 1-0 win over the European champions in 1979 was one of four trips in the First Division. It has been highs and lows by the Trent - say no more.

### King Power Stadium (7)

Incredibly given the way some of the games have gone, Albion have never won at Leicester in the Prem. This venue launched Tariq Lamptey’s Albion career and ended Maty Ryan’s.

### St Mary’s Stadium (7)

A great venue for the Seagulls with three wins and four draws for close to two points per game.

### Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (7)

Two wins in the last four visits and a few bits of controversy. Their last four defeats have all been by 2-1 scorelines.

### Elland Road (6)

Albion had a good record at Leeds in the Championship but their only win in the top tier was a 1-0 before empty stands. They had one point from three visits in the old days and have twice been pegged back for Prem draws in recent years.

### Vitality Stadium (6)

Two wins (both in the last three seasons) and four defeats on six Prem visits to Bournemouth’s tight little home, plus mixed fortunes in the cups.

### Turf Moor (6)

Two wins, three draws, close to two points per game and a beer at James Anderson’s old cricket ground to reward those who have trekked to East Lancs.

### The Hawthorns (5)

Another where Albion are winless in the top flight. A 5-0 hammering by West Brom way back was followed by a depressing 2-0 loss in the first Prem season.

Ipswich were among the best teams in the land as Albion made four visits in the First Division and gained just one point. The 2-0 win last season showed times have changed.

### Carrow Road (5)

Another where the only win came behind closed doors as Leandro Trossard scored. Also two draws and two defeats.

### Vicarage Road (5)

A 4-1 defeat by Watford in the First Division and a 2-0 in the Prem but Albion have won on their last two visits and this was also the scene of their first Prem point.

### Craven Cottage (5)

All five top-flight trips were in the Prem and the only point for Albion was secured in a 0-0 behind closed doors.

### Maine Road (4)

Ever-present in the first top-flight era with Albion getting two draws and two defeats against Manchester City.

### White Hart Lane (4)

Four trips in the old top-flight included a 1-0 win secured by Michael Robinson as Hoddle and Ardiles were contained.

### Highfield Road (4)

Scene of a 1-0 win over Coventry in the old First Division plus a Gordon Smith hat-trick which secured a 3-3 draw from 3-0 down.

### Highbury (4)

A 0-0 draw, with Graham Moseley in good form, was the best it got for Albion at Arsenal’s old home, at least in terms of playing against the Gunners.

### The Dell (4)

From a 5-1 defeat to a 2-0 win as Albion visited Southampton’s quirky little ground in the First Division.

### Victoria Ground (4)

Having won promotion together, Albion visited Stoke City at their classic old-school home in the First Division and never scored as they drew 0-0 twice and lost twice.

### Gtech Community Stadium (4)

The most recent new stadium Albion have visited until now. Leandro Trossard late on gave them a 1-0 win that day but they have only brought one point back over Kew Bridge since then.

### Ayresome Park (3)

Just one point gained at Middlesbrough’s unwelcoming old haunt.

### St Andrew’s (3)

Albion and Birmingham City have not coincided in the Prem but they made three First Division visits and Gordon Smith forced a 1-1 draw late in the relegation season of 1982-83.

### Roker Park (3)

A win, a draw and a defeat at Sunderland’s old home famous for its roar. The win, secured by a last-gasp Gary Williams volley, was a big part of avoiding relegation in 1980-81.

### Bramall Lane (3)

Scene of Albion’s biggest away win in the top flight (5-0) as well as a 1-0 defeat and 1-1 draw, all in recent seasons.

### Upton Park (2)

Penalties by Ray Stewart and Neil McNab meant a 1-1 draw which was followed by a 2-1 Albion defeat at the Boleyn Ground.

### Vetch Field (2)

Albion drew 0-0 with John Toshack’s decent Swansea City side in 1981-82 and then secured a 2-1 win, clinched by a Jimmy Case long-ranger, in the season when both teams went down.

### Meadow Lane (2)

Two defeats, by 4-1 and 1-0, included the infamous booking for Steve Foster which ruled him out of the 1983 FA Cup final.

### Kenilworth Road (2)

Two top-flight visits to Luton four decades part ended in defeats by 5-0 and 4-0.

### John Smith’s Stadium (2)

Having come up with Huddersfield, Albion lost 2-0 there in 2017-18 but then came from behind for a 2-1 success secured by Florin Andone which was precious in the final analysis.

### Ashton Gate (1)

A 2-2 draw on New Year’s Day as Bristol City headed for relegation.

### Burnden Park (1)

A 2-0 win, with Peter Ward’s goals, secured the club’s first-ever double in the top flight as they beat bottom-of-the-table Bolton.

### Baseball Ground (1)

Derby’s late-season 3-0 win over the Seagulls, in which Alan Biley scored twice, could not prevent relegation for the Rams in 1979-80.

### Filbert Street (1)

Just the one meeting in the First Division at Leicester’s old home – and a win as John Gregory hit the only goal on Boxing Day, 1980.

### Liberty Stadium (1)

A long trip to Swansea in 2017-18 was made worthwhile by a close-range finish from Glenn Murray and a late escape or two.

### Wembley Stadium (1)

A bonus midweek visit when Spurs were playing there – but it ended in a 2-0 defeat.

### bet365 Stadium (1)

Were we watching Brighton or Barcelona when Jose Izquierdo scored in a 1-1 draw at Stoke’s charmless current home?

### Cardiff City Stadium (1)

A 2-1 defeat in the season which saw the Bluebirds narrowly miss out on survival.
