Graham Potter faces an uncertain future at West Ham after just two Premier League games.
Potter, 50, is coming off the back of a 5-1 defeat against Chelsea at the London Stadium, where his side barely laid a glove on Enzo Maresca’s side.
Besides a bolt from the blue from Lucas Paqueta early on, there was very little positivity to speak of against the Club World Cup champions.
It is safe to say that the West Ham performance against Chelsea was dreadful, raising further questions of the manager, especially after the defeat against Sunderland on opening day.
As a result, it will come as little surprise that Potter is coming under heavy scrutiny in East London as the Englishman looks set to face a busy spell before potentially facing the sack in E20.

There is no hiding away from how poor the showing was against the Blues as the claret and blue faithful were left embarrassed on Friday night (22 August).
Having gone ahead early on, there is no real excuse to concede five and lose by four at home, especially against a local rival.
It is fair to say that this performance has reflected badly on Potter, as showcased by the anger of Jarrod Bowen at full-time against Chelsea.
As a result, there are huge concerns over the ex-Brighton boss’ future in East London moving deeper into the new Premier League campaign.
With that in mind, the Sunday Mirror have reported (24 August, page 69) that Potter is set to face a decisive week as Hammers head coach.
The “crisis-hit Irons” are preparing for upcoming clashes against Nottingham Forest and Wolves, with two defeats likely to give the board plenty to discuss over the upcoming international break.

Graham Potter is statistically West Ham’s worst manager
There is no hiding away from the numbers, which prove exactly how poor Potter has been since taking over at the London Stadium.
Having fallen to defeat against Maresca and Co., the Englishman’s record dropped to an average of 0.95 points per game in East London.
Name Points per game
Graham Potter 0.95
Gianfranco Zola 1.11
Julen Lopetegui 1.18
Avram Grant 1.21
Glenn Roeder 1.23
West Ham manager’s points per game average
This sees the former Swansea City boss rank below the likes of Gianfranco Zola, Julen Lopetegui and Avram Grant when that metric is compared.
As a result, a further decrease to that record is likely to be looked upon badly by the Hammers’ hierarchy and may not be ignored.
It will be interesting to see if Potter is moved on before the end of September or whether he can turn the ship after a choppy start to the campaign.
