Lisandro Martinez is the only long-term absentee, with the Argentine international recovering from a knee injury that will keep him on the sidelines until October. However, Noussair Mazraoui should return from his hamstring issue next week, although he remains unavailable this weekend.
Meanwhile, during his pre-match press conference, Amorim shared brief team news updates, confirming the absence of two defenders. However, he did not confirm if Andre Onana would return to the starting lineup at Altay Bayindir’s expense this weekend.
The Manchester United manager said, “Onana is ready to play like last week, so we will see in the game who is going to be keeper. Licha is out, Nous is out. The rest of the guys are fit and ready to play.”
