This week could end up being a very busy one for Leeds United. It presents the final chance to get in a few new players while shipping out some unwanted first team stars.
Leeds are already pushing to sign Strasbourg winger Dilane Bakwa according to reports, and could pay the £30million asking price this week. But Nottingham Forest are still in the race and could present a huge obstacle.

When it comes to exits, a whole host of names are still under contract at Elland Road. The likes of Patrick Bamford and Sam Greenwood have been told to find new clubs, while Illan Meslier is yet to decide on his next destination. According to Diario AS, Getafe could be forced to sell Uche at a lower fee than his release clause this summer. Spain’s financial constraints could see the club sell Uche for as low as just £13million. They already offloaded Omar Alderete to Sunderland in order to get some cash flow to register players.
If the issue persists, one lucky club could land Uche this summer.
Uche is one midfielder too many for Leeds
With the club already stacked with options in the middle of the park, a move for the Nigerian is not the best option at this point in time. There are other areas Leeds need to seriously strengthen before the transfer deadline, and the midfield is clearly not one of them.
