It has been an awful start to the season for Wolves and Vitor Pereira with back-to-back defeats in the Premier League.
Bournemouth took an early lead, before captain Toti Gomes was sent off, making any chance of a result much harder.
Ultimately, it ended in a 1-0 defeat against Bournemouth for Wolves. To pile onto the disappointments, Jorgen Strand Larsen came off with an injury, and was visibly frustrated.
After the game, Vitor Pereira gave an update on the injury of the Norwegian, and he also admitted something else about the striker.
Vitor Pereira says Wolves cannot afford to lose Jorgen Strand Larsen
Wolves have lost too many key players already, and with Newcastle heavily linked to Jorgen Strand Larsen, there is a possibility that he could leave.
However, speaking after the defeat to Bournemouth, Vitor Pereira said they could not afford to lose Strand Larsen.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
The Old Gold have already lost Matheus Cunha, and their Norwegian forward remains their main source of goals.
Selling their star forward at this stage would be a disaster with very little time left in the transfer market.

Jorgen Strand Larsen needs help up front in scoring goals for Wolves
So far this season, Wolves have failed to find the back of the net. The reliance on Jorgen Strand Larsen can be an issue, and the Molineux side need to find more ways to score or supply the striker.
Against Bournemouth, Strand Larsen only had one shot across his 78-minute performance, and among both the starting XI and the subs, only three chances were created.
Any success for Vitor Pereira this season will come down to his side’s ability to feed Strand Larsen, who has already proved he is able to score at the Premier League level.
What Wolves need to do now is ensure that he gets the chances to score, and in the long run, they’ll be all the more successful.
Pereira likely knows that these solutions can be found in the transfer market, as the Old Gold are still in need of adding another attacker to their squad.
Additionally, Hwang Hee-chan looks to be leaving before the end of the window, so signing two forwards will be an absolute must.
