Everton play host to Brighton and Hove Albion at the brand new Hill Dickinson Stadium.
It will be the first ever competitive game at the 52,000-seater, so it’s set to be a very lively and emotional atmosphere.
Everton need to put right the poor away performance at Leeds United, whilst Brighton head into the clash off the back of a dull 1-1 draw against Fulham.
There are expected to be a number of home debuts this afternoon, with Jack Grealish, Thierno Barry, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Adam Aznou all in contention to start.
With that said, here are three bold predictions for the historic clash.

Three bold predictions in Everton vs Brighton
Adam Aznou causes havoc down the left
Adam Aznou missed the Premier League opener against Leeds United, however, Moyes has hinted that he could return against Brighton.
“Aznou has trained today for the first time, so we’ll see how he goes,” the Scotsman said in his pre-match press conference.
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich youngster could replace James Garner at left-back and if he does, he could cause havoc down the left flank.

Aznou is a very attack-minded full-back, and his crossing ability could see Thierno Barry or Beto get lots of headed chances.
Everton! GO AND GET ADAM AZNOU! He will be worth 30-40 million in a few years!

Jack Grealish gets his first goal
Grealish made his debut last weekend but was only afforded 20 minutes off the bench, though he did show glimpses of his quality.
The Manchester City loanee will surely start this afternoon, and if that’s the case, it wouldn’t at all be surprising if he scores his first goal.
Grealish has a good record against the Seagulls, having netted four times whilst laying on two assists in six starts.
Everton run away with it in front of electric crowd
Moyes’ side may end up running away with it and winning by quite a big margin in front of the passionate Evertonians.
With Grealish getting off the mark, Barry will be hungry to do the same, and he’ll have the luxury of quality set-piece deliveries from Dewsbury-Hall.
Speaking earlier this week, Fabian Hurzeler admitted the Everton fans will make it tough for Brighton, so they’ll be desperate not to concede the first goal.
Prediction: Everton 3-0 Brighton
