Ruben Amorim’s side narrowly missed out on an opening day point against Arsenal, going down 1-0 after an Altay Bayindir error allowed Riccardo Calafiori to head home the winner.

Benjamin Sesko could be in line for a full debut today having . Fellow new signings Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha have also made the trip, but there was no room for Rasmus Hojlund amid continued uncertainty over his future at the club.

Andre Onana was also spotted with the United squad yesterday and he looks set to return in goal. Lisandro Martinez and Noussair Mazraoui are still sidelined with injuries and will play no part today.
