2 sources state Chelsea reach agreement for exit – Blues player travelling for medical

Three days ago, we covered claims from Germany that Borussia Dortmund are in talks with Chelsea over a move for Aarón Anselmino this summer.

On Saturday, Sky Deutschland journalist Patrick Berger reported BVB sporting director Sebastien Kehl and managing director Lars Ricken travelled to London to negotiate with Chelsea for the 20-year-old and Carney Chukwuemeka.

According to the latest claims from Argentina, the Bundesliga club have made advances in their pursuit of Anselmino.

Germán García Grova took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report that Niko Kovač’s side are finalising the centre-back’s signing.

He claims there’s an agreement between the two clubs for a loan deal and are deciding whether to include a purchase option.

In another post on X, Germán García Grova reports Enzo Maresca’s side have decided to send the defender to BVB on a dry, season-long loan deal.

Another Argentine journalist, César Luis Merlo, also took to X to report that the German club have an agreement with Chelsea to sign Anselmino on loan without an option or obligation to buy.

Anselmino will travel to Germany at the start of next week to complete his move. In other words, he’s expected to travel within the next few days to carry out medical and sign the contract with Borussia Dortmund.
