The start to the Premier League has not gone the way Wolves and Vitor Pereira wanted.
While an opening day fixture against Manchester City was always going to be difficult, there would have been some hope that they could get a result against Bournemouth.
The Old Gold went into the game with a good record at the Vitality Stadium, and the brief period of quality against Manchester City showed the manager and players the potential the squad has.
However, this wasn’t the case, and the 1-0 defeat to the Cherries has compounded the belief more signings are needed.
Vitor Pereira has now issued a public message to Fosun, confirming how many signings he thinks the club needs before the window closes.

Vitor Pereira tells Fosun he needs three new signings at Wolves
After the defeat down south, Vitor Pereira said the club are working on two or three deals, but he “thinks [they] need three players.”
There have been many high profile outgoings from Wolves this summer, but in terms of incomings, it has been less than ideal.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
Five of last season’s key players have left, and so far only four new signings have been made. This has left the squad in a much weaker position than last campaign.
The goals of Matheus Cunha have not been replaced, and the leadership qualities of Nelson Semedo will be sorely missed.
Wolves need to reinvest through the market, or else they will be in for a long season fighting against relegation, and there is a clear area they need to focus on.

Wolves need to sign at least two forwards before window closes
The lack of goals in the Wolves squad is a real issue. The Old Gold need to sign at least two forwards who can solve this.
The over-reliance on one player is never a good thing, and Strand Larsen will certainly feel the pressure to deliver.
Last season, the Norwegian had Matheus Cunha he could play off, knowing that the Brazilian was capable of popping up with a goal, or providing him with an excellent chance to score.
This season, he is the only real goalscorer within the squad, and Vitor Pereira will know that he needs more players who can provide a threat in the box.
