Man Utd have been dealt a transfer blow with PSG star Gianluigi Donnarumma reportedly agreeing to personal terms with Premier League rivals Man City.

The Italian keeper is set to leave Paris after failing to agree a new deal and was emotional as he waved goodbye to the PSG fans on Friday evening.

In a new update shared on Sunday morning, transfer insider Fabrizio Romano wrote: "Donnarumma has agreed on personal terms with Manchester City, keen on joining Pep Guardiola.

"Negotiations are also underway between Man City & PSG, fee will be under initial €50m request."

It is understood that for Donnarumma to join Man City, Brazil star Ederson would need to leave the club. He has been connected with a move to Galatasaray.

City's current number one, England hopeful James Trafford, endured a day to forget as he gifted Spurs a goal in their 2-0 win over City at the Etihad on Saturday lunchtime.

It is thought that City are reluctant to reach the transfer fee that PSG are requesting, but it is thought the value may drop later in the transfer window, with the French outfit risking losing Donnarumma on a free transfer next year.

Man Utd have been linked with a number of goalkeepers this summer. Onana has been struggling for fitness and was linked with a move back to Inter Milan earlier in the window.

Regardless of Donnarumma, Utd look set to bring in another shot-stopper in the form of young Belgian keeper Senne Lammens.

United have been keeping tabs on the 23-year-old Royal Antwerp star for the past year, and have lined up a deal that will see them pay an initial £16million plus a package of add-ons.

It is understood that Lammens wants to move to Old Trafford, despite interest from Galatasaray, Inter Milan and Lille.

United will now look to seal an agreement with the player, although Turkish giants Galatasaray put in an 11th-hour bid last night to try to steal the 6ft 4in keeper.
