Leeds United had a day to forget in north London as they fell to defeat against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Daniel Farke's side made their journey to the capital with spirits high after an opening day 1-0 win over Everton on Monday night. But they knew that an enthused Arsenal, following the announcement of new signing Eberechi Eze, would provide a different task.
The Whites found themselves 2-0 down at the break owing to goals from Jurrien Timber and Bukayo Saka. It got worse in the second half, as well, as Viktor Gyokeres (2) and a second from Timber saw Leeds fall to a 5-0 defeat.
Farke's side don't have too long to dwell on the result with the team back in action on Tuesday night when they take on Sheffield Wednesday away in the Carabao Cup second round (8pm). They then return to Premier League action with a home game against Newcastle United on Saturday evening (5.30pm).
While we wait for those matches, here's a look back on their game at the Emirates Stadium - and what just a few national media outlets had to say about Leeds;
The Times, Jonathan Northcroft
"Leeds troubled Arsenal during the opening half hour. Gone is the old rollercoaster football of "Farke-ball" as their manager, Daniel Farke, bids to stay in the Premier League with a more a sensible, structured, physical style. Arteta was complimentary and Farke pointed out Arsenal scored with every one of their shots on target...
"...Leeds' best chance came at 0-0, at a corner, delivered to the centre of the six-yard line, where Struijk broke free of Jurrien Timber to send a powerful header just over. But the next corner was in Leeds's box and it seemed like Farke's team failed to watched much of the Premier League last year - for they fell for an Arsenal ruse familiar to anyone who did."

BBC Sport, Alex Howell
"Leeds started their season with a win over Everton and that three points gave supporters some hope coming to Arsenal. However, Leeds had lost 10 of their past 12 Premier League away matches against the Gunners - and they never looked like improving that record in this match.
"Arsenal are a completely different prospect from the Everton side they beat last Monday night and, apart from a header from Pascal Struijk, Daniel Farke's side didn't threaten the Gunners."

The Guardian, David Hytner
"The game might have been shaped differently had David Raya not repelled a meaty Struijk header on 20 minutes following a Leeds corner and it was one at the other end that settled Arsenal. Declan Rice whipped it over and Timber - part of a platoon of red shirts that moved inside from beyond the far post - glanced it past Lucas Perri...
"...Leeds appeared resigned to their fate and they were pushed further towards it when Rice curved the ball over again and, following a possible handball by William Saliba and a scramble, Timber prodded home."
