Gravenberch Liverpool Newcastle clash preparation has been laid out by the midfielder, who is eager to make his first competitive appearance of the season on Monday night.
After missing the Community Shield and the opening Premier League fixture, the Dutchman returns ready to strengthen Arne Slot’s midfield.
Gravenberch, 23, served a suspension against Bournemouth but now looks forward to helping the Reds in a tough test at St. James’ Park.
Speaking at the AXA Training Centre, he made clear just how much effort the team has put into preparing for the physical threat Newcastle bring.

Gravenberch on Liverpool’s focus ahead of Newcastle test
The Dutch international underlined the importance of Liverpool’s training sessions this week.
“Newcastle are really good, we know it will be a really tough game for us. They are really physical, they are good in set-pieces, so we prepare really good for them and we want to show that we give our all against them on Monday.”
Slot has already spoken about the need to find the right balance between attack and defence, and Gravenberch believes his return can help with that.
Last season, he started 37 of 38 league games, becoming the anchor of Liverpool’s midfield during their title-winning run.
The midfielder also pointed to the Reds’ analysis of recent games.
“We analysed the game against Bournemouth, of course, and also against Crystal Palace. We knew what we had to do better. So obviously we train on it, we train on being in possession and everything.”
Gravenberch praised the club’s new arrivals, who continue to adapt to Premier League football.
He remains confident they will play a big role in Liverpool’s push for trophies this season.
Liverpool travel to face a Newcastle side boosted by Champions League qualification, but Gravenberch insists the Reds are ready for the challenge.
