Manchester United are reportedly still working "to find a solution" for Jadon Sancho, with the Red Devils determined to sell him before this summer's transfer window closes for business.
Roma had been in talks over a deal for the Englishman, but the Italian club's sporting director Frederic Massara has revealed that a proposed switch is now off the table.
"There are no conditions to proceed with this deal, especially as Sancho doesn’t have the motivations to join AS Roma," said Massara, in quoted reported by SportMediaset,
Sancho has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Old Trafford, so Man United will lose him for nothing next summer unless an exit can be agreed before the end of the market.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Man United remain hopeful that they can find an exit route for the ex-Manchester City youngster, who picks up in the region of £250,000 a week at Old Trafford.

Sancho's proposed move to Roma has fallen through
"Now the director of Roma goes public, says that Sancho doesn't want to go. I can guarantee to you that Manchester United are still pushing for Jadon Sancho to go as soon as possible," Romano told GIVEMESPORT.
"Roma were offering £20m, so United for that money sell the player. United are trying to find a solution as soon as possible for Sancho, because they don't want the player to stay at the club, and so they are pushing and pushing to find a solution as soon as possible for Jadon Sancho."
Sancho spent last season on loan at Chelsea, scoring five goals and registering 10 assists in 41 appearances in all competitions, and the Blues were keen to sign him on a permanent basis.
However, Sancho could not come to an agreement with the London club over personal terms, which led to Enzo Maresca's side being forced to pay a £5m penalty fee to Man United.

Sancho has been an expensive mistake for Man United
Sancho will go down one of Man United's worst signings of all time considering his output and transfer fee.
Indeed, the Red Devils paid Borussia Dortmund £73m for his services in the summer of 2021, but he has only managed 12 goals and six assists in 83 appearances for the English club.
Sancho's best football of his career has come for Dortmund, scoring 53 goals and registering 67 assists in 158 appearances for the German outfit over two spells.
BVB are believed to have explored the possibility of re-signing him earlier this summer but ultimately dropped their interest due to the cost of the transfer, with Man United wanting £20m for his services.
Juventus are also said to have tried and failed to sign the forward this summer.
