Chelsea sold Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to Everton this summer, and it looks like he’s settled at his new home very quickly.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, 26, joined Chelsea from Leicester City in 2024. After 36 appearances across all competitions last season, the Blues sold the English midfielder to Everton earlier this month.
Fulham spoke about signing Dewsbury-Hall this summer, but he ended up securing a permanent move to Merseyside.
Last weekend, he played the full game in Everton’s 1-0 defeat to Leeds United in their opening match of the new Premier League season. He’s just followed it up on Sunday with another 90 minutes as the Toffees kickstarted life at the Hill Dickinson Stadium with a 2-0 victory against Brighton.

Dewsbury-Hall, who started as an attacking midfielder for David Moyes’ side, impressed in Everton colours against Brighton.
His only negative moment came when he conceded a penalty in the second half, with the referee harshly awarding a spot-kick after he blocked a shot in the area. However, Jordan Pickford bailed him out of trouble by saving the penalty kick.
Everton fans quickly liked the Dewsbury-Hall signing, and it certainly looks like he’ll bring a lot to them moving forward.

Chelsea’s players were sad to see Dewsbury-Hall leave, which is no surprise because he was a great squad player last season under Enzo Maresca.
However, it’s only right that the box-to-box midfielder gets to play regularly in the Premier League as he enters the prime years of his career.
He wasn’t quite good enough to nail down a starting position for the Blues. It’s quite clear he can be a key player for league rivals Everton, though.
